Pepper Chicken




















Ingredients:


Chicken- 500 gms small pieces.
Black pepper powder -3/4 tsp
Onion - 2 chopped finely
Tomato-1 chopped
Chilly powder-1/2 tea spoon
Coriander &Curry Leaves

Ginger and garlic paste-2 tspn smooth paste
(salt to taste)
Turmeric a pinch
Oil:3 tsp


Method of prepation:

  1. Cut chicken in to small pieces.
  2. Add turmeric powder,chilly powder, anise powder (Sombu) and salt in to the chicken and mix it well.
  3. Heat oil in a large pan.
  4. Add the onions, curry leaves and saute for a while.
  5. Then add the ginger and garlic (mash them up together or can use ginger garlic paste instead) and fry for few mins.
  6. Add the chickenmixture to the frying pan and mix well. Fry it in low-medium heat for 20-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. When the chicken is almost done, add the pepper powder into the mixture and mix well.
Now the pepper chicken is ready.
