Gulab Jamun

Gulab Jamun is one of the delicious dessert.This is popular in North India and Pakistan.This is made from milk powder.

Ingredients:
Carnation Milk Powder-1 cup
All kinds of Flour - 1/4 cup
Baking Soda- 1/2 tsp
Butter -3 tsp
Milk -1/4 cup
water - Required amount
Sugar- 2 1/2 cup
Cardamom -5 cloves
Oil-required amount

Method:
1.Take the milk powder,add all kinds of flour,baking soda and mix well.
2.Then add the melted butter , milk and water to make a dough.
3.Keep the dough for 10 minutes.


















4.Then take the dough and make small balls without cracking,otherwise while frying balls will broken.


















5.Now heat the oil,add the balls one by one and fry until for its golden color.
















6.Then you want to make a syrup,so boil the required amount of water and add sugar.Stir this syrup for 10 minutes.Then add the cardamom cloves.
7.Now add the balls to this syrup and balls should be soak in syrup for 3 hrs.Now,Gulab jamun is ready.

Dhal puttu

Ingredients:
Channa dhal-1/2 cup
Green gram dhal-1/2 cup
Grated coconut-1/2 cup
Sugar-1 cup
Cardamom- 3
Ghee-3 tsp

Method:
1.Soak the dhal in water for 1 hour and grind them.
2.Then take the idli cooker and place the dhal in the idli cooker plate and cook for few minutes.
3.Then take the cooked dhal and add sugar,coconut, ghee and cardamom. Then stir well.
Now dhal puttu is ready to serve.

Pineapple kesari

Ingredients:
Pineapple-small one
Rava-1 cup
Sugar-2 cup
Pineapple essence-1 tsp
Ghee-1/4 kg
Cashnew nuts-5
kesari powder- a pinch

Method:
1.Remove the skin of the pineapple and cut into small pieces.Then add the sugar to the pineapple pieces.
2.Fry the rava and cashnew nuts separately using ghee.
3.Boil the water,add the rava and color powder and stir well.
4.Allow the rava to cook for 10 minutes.After that add the pineapple mixture and stir well.

Now pineapple kesari is ready.

Paneer payasam

Ingredients:
Milk-6 cups
Paneer-150 grams
Sugar-3 cups
Cashnew nuts and dry grapes-required amount

Method:
1.Boil the milk for 10 minutes and fry the cashnew nuts and dry grapes.
2.Cut the paneer into small sizes.
3.Heat the water, add the sugar and paneer.
4.Add this mixture to the boiling milk,add cashnew nuts ,dry grapes and stir until for 10 minutes.
Now paneer payasam is ready.

Milk halwa

Ingredients:
Milk-6 cups
Rava-1 cups
Almond nuts-2tsp
Sugar-3 cups
Ghee-2 cups
Food color powder -a pinch

Method:
1.Remove the skin of almond nuts.Heat the pan add 2tsp of ghee and fry the almond nuts and rava.
2.In a vessel,add the milk,sugar,ghee and color powder and stir well. This mixture is also heated in the low flame.Then add the rava and almond nuts and stir well.
Now milk halwa is ready.

Sweet Paniyaram

Ingredients:
Raw rice-1cup
Urud dal-2tsp
Elatchi-a pinch
jaggery-20 grams

Method:
1.Soak the rice and dal in the water for 2 hours and grind it well.
2.Then add the jaggery ,salt and allow to fermentation.
3.Now heat the panniyaram kadai and add little oil.
4.When the kadai gets hot ,Pour spoonfuls of batter into each hole and add oil along the side of the hole.
5.When it gets cooked turn to the other side and add little oil.
Now sweet paniyaram is ready.

Sakarai pongal

Ingredients:
Raw rice-1 cup
Green gram-20 gram
Jaggery-50 gram
Ghee-30 gram
Coconut milk-1cup
Dry grapes and cashnew nuts-10 grams

Method:
1.Fry the green gram.
2.Boil the water and then add green gram,rice and salt.
3.When the rice is half cooked add coconut milk and stir well.
4.Then add the jaggery, ghee, cashnew nuts and dry grapes.
Now sakarai pongal is ready.

Rava kesari


Ingredients:
Rava-1 cup
Sugar-2 cup
Ghee-1/2 cup
Cashew nuts-4
Dry grapes-5
Water-1 1/2 cup
kesari powder-a pinch
Salt to taste

Method:
1.Fry the rava,cashew nuts and grapes in ghee.
2.Boil the water then add rava and kesari powder.
3.Once the rava gets cooked add sugar and stir it well.
4.Then add cashew nuts ,and grapes.
5.Cook until for its thickness(fully cooked).
Now rava kesari is ready.

Puttu

















Ingredients:

Rice flour-3 cup
Sugar-1cup
Coconut-1cup
Salt to taste.

Method:

1.Mix the salt in water.
2.Add the water to the rice flour.(add the water little by little)
3.Rice flour should be in powdered form.
4.Then keep it in the cooker till for 2 whistle.
5.Then add the sugar and coconut.Mix it well.
6.Now sweet puttu is ready.

Kesari









Ingredients:

Vermicelli-1 cup
Sugar-1cup
Drygrapes-5
Cashewnuts-5
Water-3 cup
Cardamom-3
Ghee-4tsp
Kesari powder-a pinch
Salt to taste
Method:

1.Heat the ghee,add cashewnuts,grapes ,vermicelli and fry it for 4min and keep it aside.
2.Heat the pan with water,when it boils star vermicelli and stir well.
3.After 4 min vermicelli is cooked,add kesari powder.
4.Then add the sugar and stir well.
5.Then add the cashewnuts,grapes and cardamom.
6.Keep this mixture in the stove until it becomes paste.
7.Then add the ghee.

Milk payasam(pal payasam)











Ingredients:

Milk-4cups
Vermicelli-1cup
Ghee-4tsp
Cashewnuts-6
Dry grapes-5
Method:
1.Heat the ghee,add vermicelli,cashewnuts and grapes and fry it for few minutes.
2.Then add the milk and sugar.
3.Keep them for 15 minutes.Now payasam is ready.
