Ven Pongal










Ingredients:

Raw Rice-1 1/2 cup
Black Pepper-1tsp
Milk-1 1/2 cup
Ghee-4tsp
Green gram dhal-1/4 cup
Cumin seed-1tsp
Curry Leaves-few
Water-6 cups
Ginger-few amount
Salt to taste

Method:

1.Wash the rice and pour 6 cups of water with dhal.
2.cook the rice with dhal.
3. Add salt,ginger,curry leaves and milk with cooked rice.
4.Fry the pepper,cumin seed in the ghee.
5.pour over pongal and mix well.Now ven pongal is ready
6.For this cocunut chutney and sambar is good combination.
